What this site does
AI Website Detector ("we", "us") lets visitors paste a URL and receive an automated assessment of whether the site appears to have been built with an AI website builder or AI coding tool. The service is free and does not require an account.
URLs you submit
When you submit a URL, our server fetches that page to analyze its HTML for the signals described on our How It Works section. We do not store the URLs you check, the pages we fetch, or the results in any database — each request is processed and discarded.
Log data
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical logs for security and reliability (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps). These logs are generated and retained by our hosting provider's standard infrastructure, not by us directly, and are not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to remember your light/dark theme preference. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Advertising
